Susan Montague, Secretary
Susan Montague brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the role. Initially from Boston, she pursued her education at Bryn Mawr College and the University of Pennsylvania. Susan embarked on her professional journey as a high school English teacher before immigrating to New Brunswick in 1975.
In 1981, she commenced her remarkable career at the University of New Brunswick, where she has contributed significantly to various aspects of the institution over four decades. Her focus areas have predominantly been advancement, encompassing communications, alumni relations, and fundraising. Notably, she has served as an advisor to six university presidents, a testament to her wealth of institutional knowledge and commitment. Susan's extensive and enduring service was aptly recognized when she was awarded an honorary degree in 2019.
Susan Montague completed her 10-month term as the Acting Vice-President for Advancement at UNB on July 1, 2022, and she continues in her role as Senior Advisor for Advancement. This position highlights her consistent dedication to the institution's growth and achievements.
